My motto: it should taste as lovely as it looks. I tend toward modern designs with a rustic elegance, perfect for a simple wedding in the Tetons. I use flowers, fruit, buttercream, texture, and more to highlight the natural structure and beauty of the cake, while capturing the look and feel of your wedding. Natural. Beautiful. Delicious. If you dream it, I can create it! From a golf cake for a 50th celebration to a wolf cake for a 6th birthday, my style is to use the essence of your idea to design a cake that enhances your vision without being too literal. I lean towards a simple but vibrant aesthetic that will capture the spirit of your cake. (And surprise, the inside of this cake had 6 sponge layers, each a different color of the rainbow!)
Sometimes you just need a scrumptious, moist, eye-popping cake for a special occasion. Maybe a retirement party, or a holiday gathering, or a celebration of a job well done! I am happy to take the reins and come up with a unique creation that achieves your goals and tastes delightful! (This raspberry-chocolate “Teton” cake–using chocolate shavings as the mountains–is one of my favorites!)
